As a doctorally trained and credentialed Family Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Sutter serves as the Director of a network of eight Academic Nurse-managed community clinics. Dr. Sutter has a history of extensive successful community collaborations on a variety of multidisciplinary implementation programs and research studies.

Dr. Ashley Wiest (she/her/hers) is the Project Coordinator for Mason’s Learning Laboratory for Community Health, a Provider for ECOP JMAT and Bridge Program, and a professor for the School of Nursing (Mason Online Program) and College of Public Health. She is a leading expert on working with underserved populations, particularly the uninsured, homeless, and disabled. She specializes in developing relationships with partners, focusing on community engagement and relationship building.

Megan S. Harvey, DNP, FNP-BC, BSN, RN

Dr. Megan Harvey is an assistant professor and Research Scientist in the School of Nursing, Research faculty. Harvey’s research interests include vulnerable populations, community and population-based healthcare and substance use disorders. She has a passion for opioid use disorders and works closely with the George Mason University Mason and Partners (MAP) Clinics as a provider for at risk populations in substance abuse and chronic disease management.

Lisa M. Gring-Pemble, PhD

Dr. Lisa Gring-Pemble, an associate professor at George Mason University, is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of St. Olaf College. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Communication (Rhetoric) from the University of Maryland.

Patrice Winter, PT, DPT, MHA, FAAOMPT

Academic Lead Collaborator, Learning Laboratory for Community Health

Dr. Winter is a professor at George Mason University in the Department of Global and Community Health where she teaches curriculum related to community health, healthy living and aging well. She is Coordinator for the Masters of Public Health Practicum and Undergraduate Internship programs placing students regionally as well as internationally.
